Could not have been easy for Norwood as they had a heap of these in and out of the team. All that considered it doesnt look good with this years recruits.
I'm very disappointed we breached the cap but at least this year the amount of AFL listed players is a lot less.
With a nominal fee of about $500 counting against the salary cap for every game played by an AFL-listed player, that is hardly going to be the reason you exceeded the cap by $30,000.
Where did I say that was the reason we breached the cap?
Just dont agree with AFL listed players appearances as being part of the cap.
And dash, you have way too much time on your hands. Cant you do something else instead of digging up dirt from other clubs? The info night was over a week ago.
And the "hefty pay packet" comment from me was tongue in cheek.
Heart Beats True, I explain something to you
Bryce Campbell (Crows) 17 Games $500 a game in 2008
Kris Massie (Crows) 2 games $500 a game in 2008
Luke Jericho (Crows) 5 games $500 a game in 2008
A Kite (Crows) 14 games @$300 a game in 2008
Walker (Crows) 17 games @$300 a game in 2008
Lower (Power) 9 games @$300-500 a game in 2008
Thomas (Power) 4 games @$300-500 a game in 2008
Adam Cockshell (Power) 19 Games $300 a game in 2008
Heart Beats True, at $300 a game thats close to what a first year rookie gets in the SANFL, these guys didnt cause u in any way to go over the salary cap, they reduced you match payments, didnt increase them. In 2009 the 3 lads u recruited to stay at your club will cost you more like an
extra $1500 a game being generous
I hear a few clubs pulled out of the bidding for Bryce Campbell at about 50K, others bid higher so divide that by 20 to see what he gets a game
