Hosted by some bloke with a mo.

Think it was actually called 'Animals' funny enough.

Actually "Animals, Animals, Animals". And the mo belonged to Hal Linden.

No, sorry I cant remember that. However I do remember in Meningie as a kid, watching TV (when it first came out) in the window of the store, with all the locals. We were the third in town to get a set. A Stromberg Karlson on 2 & 6 a week. I wasnt allowed to touch it and had to wait, after school till Mum came home and turned it on. Not even allowed to turn the volume up!

I changed some! when I turned 16 though

My favourite cartoon when growing up was the Mysterious Cities Of Gold (on the ABC in the afternoons in the mid-late 80s). It is the only animated series that I can remember having a decent storyline and a plot which continued from one episode to the next.

For those who have a vague memory of it, it was about these three kids who travelled around South America in the 16th Century looking for this city of gold.

I was interested to later find out that it had quite a cult following in a number of countries and there are quite a few websites around about it.

With musical interludes by Lyn Kellogg. Usually a song about an otter.
