Cheers TT. Thats what these games are for... a kick and catch to blow the cobwebs out and a beer afterwards. Good luck to you blokes too. Should be right with Alby waving everything within 10 metres thru for a goal !!! Won us many games over the years !! ;)
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

You blokes ready for this week Choccies..... should be a good spectacle with the first time the A grades have gone head to head evn though different division. It will be a good advertisement for the local area with a new rivarly other than Modbury v TTG and no doubt we will see you in future years when you climb the grades.

Absolutely mate !! All the talk and banter on here about who is looking good and all that means nothing when you line up against a Div 1 side in a game whether it be a trial or not. No doubts that our blokes will be chomping at the bit to impress and likewise your lads will be keen to run out a good game and put some space between us on the scoreboard for some confodence for the year ahead... A great friendly rivalry was started last year in the C5 comp so hopefully this can continue for the benefit of both clubs !! Sadly I wont be there as I'll be at the Clipsal so my new career as B grade runner has to wait another week...

Pretty close to full strenght FS. One out with a wedding, another at clipsal, one injury. Our skipper is still making his way back through the B's after off season surgery. I know the guys are very excited to see how we will fare against a class opponent. I imagine the feeling will be big in both camps before the game even though it may be a trial but there. Seems to be good rivalry between the clubs even though we are yet to play at A-grade level

Club rooms are looking really good. Have just cut a whole in the wall for the race/steps down to the oval and now with the roof on, alot of the work on the inside should be sped along.

we played a composite c and d grade side. they were right in it until the last 1/4. Played very well. Cant remember the final score but an excellent effort to match it so well across all grades with a Div 1 club

I dont think it will be as strong as our c5 side from last year was but competitive no doubt. Still hard to aguge who will be where at this stage. Still a few agraders missing plus the extended benches used for trials should see a filter down effect resulting in a good d-grade come round 1

D grade is always a mystery.... blokes turn up out of the woodwork Thursday night before round 1.... should still be competitive and win more than lose I'd think... Lots of ex-players coming back out to see if they can touch their toes and bandage themselves from head to toe so I pity the D grade trainers..... ;)

We were competative for about 95% of the game, they kicked about 3 goals in the last 5 minutes but still only won by about 3-4 goals if that. Positive signs for the C-Grade and some of the D-Grade players who put on a guernsey.
