Good game of finals cricket with both teams having chances to win be the same this weekend.Credit to seaford they gave it a real good skake just when you think the game is over the tail came out smashing some of the biggest sixes seen for a long time.

All the best to Cove this week in the grand final ,full marks to both cove and seaford in playing a tough tight prelim that ebbed and flowed back and forth over the 2 days.Day one Cove were in trouble at 3 for 25 before Darren Thomas found an ally in Luke Hibberd to put on a 100 plus partnership,that put cove in control,until Mcivor struck back putting seaford back in the game taking 7 wkts Cove all out 203.Seaford started day 2 with a run out of ball 2 to be 1 for 0 before digging in an building partnerships and at 3 for 90 were back on top, the fall of Allards wkt happening just before the rain hit,turned the game on its head.Seaford then required the runs in 90 minutes enter Cook and mcivor who put Seaford back in the game with some big hitting and to Coves credit continued to bowl in the rain to give Seaford a chance when Roger Ross was caught on the boundary by Sam Titterton of Michael Thomas the time was 6 12,Thomo taking 4 wkts and Shane Comer 3,What a game

Why does grand final always land on clipsal? I reckon the cricket season should be shortened by a week. 10 years ago you used to have a 3-4 week break between cricket/ footy season now it seems that if you are playing cricket finals you dont get a break in between.
