Guys,

Not sure if I got this right but if the scores in the paper are correct I make Grange 4th on 126.19pts & AHOS 5th on 126.095pts.

Is this correct?

If so, under what heading?

Thanks

Jimmy you need to go to the MyCricket website for ATCA statistics and customise the website for the ATCA.

http://www.cricket.com.au/mycricket

looks like I need an ID no from the club - is that correct?

We AHOS have not been given our bonus points on the table on the turf website. We are definitely in. We also have two wickets taht we have not been given points for that should a dispute have been needed we could have claimed due to two injured batsmen in two games not batting and the rest of the side bowled out. We are in.

Pretty sure the Final 4 in A1-A3 are as follows: -
A1
1. PAOC
2. SPOC
3. Pulteney
4. AHOS

A2
1. Woodville South
2. Unley
3. Hope Valley
4. Old Scotch

A3
1. Flinders Park
2. ROCS
3. Reynella
4. Goodwood

Thanks for that.
Port Districts must of just missed out in A2

I was speaking to a Port Districts player yesterday and he said they missed out by 0.3 of a point which equates to one wicket.

I think you will find Port Districts will make it. My calculations are that they will finish just over a point ahead of Old Scotch

Correction, I thought Port Districts bowled Hope Valley out in second innings. Those calculations are correct....Old Scotch in by .3

Does anyone know the reason why SHOC forfeited to Walkerville in A2 on the weekend? The game was played at Walkerville so you would think it wouldn't have been because of the under prepared wicket otherwise Walkerville wouldn't have been awarded the points.

The pitch was vandalized and abondoned. Not sure why Walkerville would ring the Sunday Mail and say SHOCs forfeited? The umpires called it off

Walkerville are claiming a win on the ATCA website as well which seems a bit strange given what you are saying above White Unicorn but Walkerville are a strange bunch of blokes. Biggest bunch of whingers in ATCA cricket.

It sounds like any sabotaging of the pitch by one of the clubs is only speculation at the minute. Agree bulldogs with what you say about SHOC's. They have no reason to want to sabotage the wicket as they had nothing to gain or lose. I don't know why Walkies would want to either. They'd made 350 odd and SHOC had lost outright the week before. Walkies have a half decent attack as well. You would hope it was just someone off the street but when it happens at this time of the season when it hasn't happened previously then questions do have to be asked.

Agree, cannot see why SHOC would want to do this. Pitch was deliberately dug up on Friday night or early Saturday morning. Given that Walkerville had already posted a big score the previous week, it is possible that the SHOC captain has conceded the game to Walkerville. Under the circumstances I think this would be appropriate. Whatever you think about Walkerville they were denied a certain victory and it would have been a gross injustice if they ended up being relegated because of this act of vandalism.

Can ABSOLUTE GUARANTEE that SHOCs had nothing to do with it...why would they they had nothing to gain and would much rather play Walkerville than Kilburn next year.

Agree WU. Any thoughts on whether the SHOC captain conceded the game? In last year's A3 Semi Final, Ingle Farm were home to Brighton. IF batted on Saturday and the sprinklers were incorrectly programmed by council to come on Saturday night. End result was that pitch was unplayable and Ingle Farm conceded the game, even though they were the higher ranked team. Only way to record this type of result is as forfeit.

I wouldnt think they conceeded the game as it has nothing to do with them...it was a Walkerville home game. Maybe if it was a SHOC home game they may have. If they didnt and Walkerville entered it as a forfeit and published it into the Sunday Mail they should really get a please explain from the Assoc.
