Would not read too much into todays results. From what I hear the game was organised at the last minute for Salisbury West. The players only found out on the Tuesday before. SW will go ok this year.

So how long do you need to get ready for a game? Tuesday not early enough?. You didnt mention how they had a laugh about playing Paralowie as well.

Paralowie had a lot of players we haven't seen before and didnt no where to play them. Few guys played 6 quarters and had around 5 out of the B grade and around 3 from the A grade. Was a good hitout

4-5 goal win for the Lodge over Eliz today. Not convincing, was very scrappy in patches. Didn't help with the oval they played on, no wings, no pockets. Must be some cricket on the other oval next week otherwise I couldn't see why they didn't use the main oval.

I didnt play, but the distance from the centre square to the boundary was very short so not much room for movement along the wings. The pockets were pretty ordinary, I reckon you could of had a set shot from 10-20 metres out on the boundary line and it would have been like having a set shot straight in front.

It was good to have a run today and have both sides showing some promise but as said the oval didn't seem very wide. I know during the warm up i wondered why everyone was sitting in the middle of the wing and then i realized that they were actually over the boundary. I guess it was the same for both sides but it just seemed like there were a lot of players in what felt like a small area.

heccies had a 3-4 goal win against unley. came from around 5 goals down at quarter time. gd signs from the new players. apparently there was a clg A grader playing for unley. heard it was green but he is still playing for clg this year. anyone from clg confirm/deny what he is doing at unley?

div 6 looking very strong atm if you look at the trial results.

well i watched the game and there was a bl player wearing no 2 he was dominating and did for the entire game i later found out through ear wigging it was brett aldridge must have kicked 4 or 5 on a wing and had 30 odd touches other good players were the ruckman the chf who i believe is from angle vale a guy i believe they were calling r.v and a red head fella on hb line, forward line looks pretty potent and have the potential to kick real big scores just hope its not against us.
