SHIELD FINAL - BUSHRANGERS Vs BULLS

Postby Ned » Fri Mar 13, 2009 11:03 am

Vics batting on a slow Junction oval wicket. 1 - 17 with Rogers an Hodge at the crease.Good move by QLD to bring in an extra spinner Doran.

Nick "it's a crime if Symonds gets a game ahead of him" Hodge out the Roy himself. Caught by Watto for 17. Go the Bulls.

Symonds bowling really well. Already has Hodge and should have had Rogers but Watto put down a sitter at second slip.

2/236 Rogers and Hussey both just got there hundreds. The selectors have jsut said how they look at finals and who performs in them.

Could this open the door for David Hussey to take his brothers spot for the ashes if he fails in the 3rd test against the boks????

Surely Victoria could not do it again.

QLD back in it with Quiney and Night Watchman Nannes out.

Symonds with 3/33 from 14.3

Oueensland would have taken that at the start of the day. I reckon they're on top. Imagine if Watto could catch :?

That will be a very important part of this game. The bulls may well be on top if he had held that chance. Good fightback by the bulls which should make the game interesting at least.

Not a bad days play for the bulls considering they did not have available to them Ryan Harris, Noffke and Swan who have formed their attack most of the year.

Or has it, may make the wicket lively for the remainder of the game and with the extra hour added before the start each day will only lose 2hrs play. It will be a result unless the field is to damp to get on. The rain should be gone by tomorrow.
