They also have that Brad Thompson bloke. Apparently the coaches managed to pull off a successful cross-sport poaching. Was a good golfer, hopefully turned footballer, who knows why he is slumming around in division 6.

Rumour has it former SAAFL division 1 stalwart Michael King, the ROCs prodigal son, will be returning to Adelaide soon.... looks like Glenunga may be in the running to secure his services. a burst up the divisional ladder could be on the cards

Not if Thompson is a gun recruit!! King is a seedy individual no doubt and his return surprises me as last i spoke with him he was trying to get a spot in Eastlakes A grade side in AFL Canberra!

Trying to get a spot? my sources tell me he is likely to be elected into the senior leadership squad. justice for his hard work over the preseason. rumour has it he posted a 14.6 on the beep test last week. back to match winning form no doubt. ex-Norwood / crows rookie Chad Gibson is also set to make his AFL Canberra debut in round one.... with that line up, Eastlake are pretty much a shoe in to take the coveted AFL Canberra dinnerware this season

Thompson has lifted significantly since he was last seen in Callington colours early in 2007. Rumour has it after returning from a ruptured spleen and torn hip flexor, with his focus now on footy, he is looking as silky as one of the Burgoyne's on the training track, not to mention beautiful. Only time will tell if he can take that through into match performances.

Why would a club - Eastlake in this case put a player in its leadership group if he was moving back to Adelaide?? Then you go on to say they are a show in to win a premiership with 2 players. 1 of which you say will play at Glenunga. So will he play for Eastlake or Glenunga?????
