then it depends which alter ego wins

Imagine if Cardiff beat Manure in something ! The "good" ego would have it over the "evil" ego.....
The joy of being on the hill drinking beer cannot be understated

4 ell sides on the last 8. What's the betting they draw each other

No Italian side in the last 8 in 7 years. Shows how thier league has fallen behind ell and la liga.

Still if platini gets his way the right balls will get a warming or English sides will be banned for being unsporting and winning everything

How well is Vidic going scoring on a regular basis. f*** Jose thinks he feels very much at home at Old Trafford well stick that up your arse, only the secoond time Fergi has beaten him.

I think there's a bit of a double meaning in Jose's comments in that, yes he's done well in the past at Old Trafford, but also that he feels at home at OT, hinting that he's up for the gig of replacing Fergie.

I was reading a British football paper on the weekend and Rio Ferdinand was saying he wants Jose to replace Fergi. Can't say it would be a bad thing but would be good to see an Englishman take the reines of a top Premier League club.

It actually is possible. I am living proof.

When I first started going for Cardiff they were third tier anyway so it never crossed my mind that one day both teams could end up in the same league...

No use getting an English manager for the sake of it... they need to be good.

If Jose took over at OT I would be on his bandwagon for sure.. you know he will keep United at the top.

Most United supporters are on the bandwagon RM.... ;)

So again I'll ask the question, if Cardiff get promoted who will you align yourself to?

I totally agree Rooster but Steve Bruce isn't doing a bad job with Wigan, Jose would be great for the club but can't stand him from he's days at Chelsea always had the upper hand on Fergie and the boys.

A top effort by Man utd this morning i thought. The "experts" on sbs and also on a few articles i've read seemed a bit critical of the red devils performance stating it wasnt the dominating performance you expect from Man Utd etc....well they were playing the Italian champions who are organised by quite a handy manager. Man Utd showed they were the better team over the 2 legs. Of course things could have been different if Ibra scored with the header but thats football. united definitely had the more chances and deserved to go thru.

Also Mourinho's pre game press conference was very interesting. Doesnt sound as tho he is all that happy in Italy & misses the premier league. Altho i think the Real Madrid position will become available before the Man utd one.

Looking forward to the draw for next round now....

There's rumors that Mourinho might be hired at Chelsea again. As a Chelsea fan I would like to ask what's the point of the last 2 years been then?

He would have to be first choice to take over at Man Utd. Everyone knows what he is Capable of. If you want a British Alternative Martin O'neill I think would be the best choice, has done wonders with villa and in the past did great jobs at Celtic and Liecester. I know he's not english but then again niether is Sir Alex
The problem with Barcelona is that I like fish and chips but they had to turn it into calamari and patatas

I'm not so sure Connie. I still think you might see Mike Phelan as the next Man U manager. You might get pretty decent odds on that too.

Personally, I don't think United need Mouriniho. Perhaps only as a means to get the players they want as that is the only draw back I could see with Phelan in charge. Whether he has a big enough personality to get the right players, or whether he actually needs to have a big personality. Maybe, being Man U is enough ??

I'd like to see Graeme Souness, Bryan Robson or Chris McDermott as the next Manc manager.

I don't think that would be a bad choice JTC he has spent alot of time around Fergie sure he has learnt a few things from the master.
