I hope they play a lot of old stuff (which is way better than their last album)

Does anyone know what time it kicks off?

Gates open at 6 it says on the ticket. Think The Stills are the support act.

This will be the 3rd time i have seen them play (i think) yet i have never seen them play Red Morning Light. Does anyone know if they refuse to play it live for any reason?

Here is the setlist from the perth gig - imagine it will be the same here.

To all those going to KoL tonight, enjoy. I am insanely jealous of you!

I agree with schimma though - 85% of the people there tonight will probably only know 2 or 3 songs that are played....hopefully these people leave the concert appreciating the older recordings of the band from Youth & Young Manhood and Aha Shake Heartbreak.

I think Because of the Times is still their best record to date.

Shouldn't need them Johno - probably get a good listen whilst chilling on the bank of the river! Lovely night for it.

set list was amazing. they played good, but the crowd was shite. to many nova/safm people there and they only went nuts for the 3 songs.

Couldn't agree more. I had a situation where a girl from my work went and i asked her if she wanted any of the other albums to listen to before hand. She said she was only going for their new stuff. Typical 21 year old girl with no music appreciation.

I would say only a third of the crowd were true fans which was dissapointing.
Saying that I'd give it about a 7.5 out of ten for the concert.

i resent that TB, i'm a 21 year old woman and i have a great appreciation of music. nothing what-so-ever to do with the fact that my old man owns a cd shop....

although i'll have to somewhat agree. all of my mates are like "omg i LOVEEE kings of leon" so i always ask what songs from their old albums they like, and i get the same look you do when you make a weird noise in front of a dog..that sidewards head turn and blank expression.... ;)

Sorry for generalising WGT. She just sits in the cubicle next to me and I have to listen to her high pitched dribble all day! It's all OMG and LOL!

Another point about last nihgt. how F**king bad was the bar set up. I used to do event management when I was over seas and it's not hard to get right. That was probably the most disorganised I have ever seen a bar.
