Also, he might be hard to beat in A2 cricketer of the year!

Duffett made about 1140 I think. Incredible allround effort by Coops. Should give Duffett's record a shake.

He might have to break the record for Port Districts to make the finals. They are playing Hope Valley...... is it Cooper v's Vaughan for a finals spot?

Vaughan 160 today

I'm tipping Woodville South will be hard to beat...

definately woody south favs from para hills and port districts i think

Para Hills will not make the finals

Port Districts well if you stop Cooper, You stop Port Districts...

Unley are the side that will take it out, if Woodville South dont.

March 7th, Para Hills lost on first Innings.

The teams havn't met this year due to heat and both play the top two sides in the final round. A win to valleys puts them a game and a half clear in fourth whilst marion will go half a game clear if they take the points.

Cant wait.

go the valley

Very Big game for you azza! Time to get a 50 and show pumba what your made of.. ;)

Absolutely they can. Scotch started the round 11.5 points behind Port Districts and at the end of Day 1 they have already caught up 1.5 points. They should knock over the last Flinders Uni wicket and get first innings points. They will then come out all guns blazing looking for either bonus points or possibility of outright. Then again if they set Flinders Uni a target and get rolled, the two points they lose will cost them any chance at fourth spot. I know Hope Valley haven't got Cooper yet, but 280 odd is a big score and at 3/25 you would have to favour HV in that one. Will be very very close and probably come down to bonus points scored next Saturday.

Bit of inclement weather been forcast for later in the week ????
I am sure Scotch will cover up...
What happens if Port districts gets one of those funny dark clouds that sit above longer than others and they and Hope Valley split the points ???
Could be real interesting..!!!!!

it would be very disapointing for many teams locked in tight games if next weekend is a washout, however it would throw up some interesting changes to the finals also one would think.

One thing that is guaranteed..
Teams will be asked to play in some ordinary conditions if the weather does come in, because ATCA umpires lack the necessary "equipment" to make hard and proper calls..
For those without umpires " good luck"

Could be very interesting. Based on my calculations on Day 1, Hope Valley have moved .07 of a point ahead of Port Districts. If that game gets called off then that will stay as is and Hope Valley are safe. Scotch would have to play and win outright to knock out Port Districts. Wouldn't it be a bummer if you missed out on finals by .07 of a point!!!

No real incentive for Port Districts to want to get away, risking losing and missing out given their early trouble...Albeit, Cooper has not batted yet...
My calcs are similar..
Stay tuned I reckon......

Does My Cricket work out the total match points or is it done by the ATCA?

My cricket unfortunately. Still ahsnt got ours right for two games. Two batsmen who were unable to bat due to injuries should be includedas dismissals if the rest of the side is bowled out. Unfortunately it seems My Cricket is unable to deal with that aspect and in 2 games we only got points for 9 wickets ratehr than the full 10 which should be allocated as he does count as a dismissed batsman. I will bring it up if it costs us a finals spot.
