Time for Hilfy to step up I reckon. Also de Villiers is a strange player, he almost constantly follows a big score up with a single figure. Too bad that makes him due :(

Hearing that Siddle is the fittest in our camp isn't surprising either, you'll notice Johnson often blitzes in the first innings then tapers off in the second while Siddle if anything hits his straps later on. Both fit though.

2(3)/145 at Tea.

It worries me a heck of a lot that Siddle of all our bowlers is injured. He is the one who seems to really fire up late in a game and there's no doubt he had a big hand in getting us home in the first test. Chasing 546 should not be possible so I'm not even going to consider it but bowling them out without Siddle is going to require a spreading of the workload. Hilf, North, Pup, I'm looking at you.

A quick well done to Hughes. Phenomenal batting and very entertaining stuff first up this morning. At least he got out having a go for his team, trying to put on some quick runs, unlike the guy at the other end protecting his precious average ;)

Couple of really good overs from Mitch and North there, both maidens and both really troubled the batsmen.

BJ and the lads are fair dinkum pissed here, surely. Did anyone hear Clark slur just then? XD

Anyways that was a real tough slog for our side today but we're just a couple of quick wickets away from working through the tail. A lot will depend on how Mitch goes with the new ball tomorrow morning and just before I go, the Hilf doesn't look right to me. I do wonder if that back of his is causing problems.

Nah Clark slurs naturally and BJ starts slurring (getting tired I think) around about tea time. They're hilarious to watch and listen to really late, BJ can barely string a sentence together. Mark Waugh's usually still going alright by the close of play when he's on.

Not confident about the situation but then again it's pretty similar to end of the first Test and I was worried then going in to the last day but I'm just still not sold on Hilfenhaus and that dropped catch by North was pathetic, it's Kallis FFS the one guy on their team who could still save it for them.
