Boys, I may have had a few frothies, but...
Hectorville.. I can't believe ppl seem to be writing them off. They were right up there last season, as they have been the last couple of seasons, until they were let down in the QF against WOS last season. Personally I don't know their ins/outs but they will be in the 5 no matter what everyone else dishes up.
Colonel Light Gardens.. Last years minor premiers. I think they proved what money could buy last year. Personally I think they will be competitive this year, but unless they have maintained most of their team from last year (which from what I've heard I don't think they will), they will struggle to win the GF and go up to Div 5.
Lockeys.. Notorious for doing ok in Div 6 but not exceeding expectations. This year will be no different. They will have lost a few, but will have gained a few 'exciting' youngsters. They will be dangerous at home again this year, but come finals will just make up the numbers.
Brahma Lodge.. Do we really care. Buy a few players and move up a Div or 2. Just as soon you will be relagated down a Div or 2. No different from when they picked up Clancy & Hodges in 2004 to go into Div 5.
Trinity OS.. Dont' think they can be judged on last year alone. Such a young FC and from some reports they have picked up a few handy recuits in the off season. If they could get Tommy Peters playing for them on a regular basis I would certainly back them for a finals birth. Lets hope the bloke on the golf buggy doesn't run over anyone again this year.
Paralowie.. apologies but I don't know much about them so can't comment. Played against them a few years ago and certainly hope they are competitive this year and stick it up Div 6!
West Croydon.. sounds like they have a few recruits. My advice... clean up the dirty dypers and condoms before your home games and we'll all be happy.
Glenunga.. from all reports on here, widely tipped to fold mid year. I don't know too much about this club, but I would be surprised if this was the case. They weren't that bad last year. I tip them to finish bottom 5 but not to get relegated.
Mitchell Park.. Will be interesting to see if they get relegated straight back to Div 7. Dirty forward line from past experiences. B Grade always struggles but A Grade can be competitive. I hope they take the most of their Div 6 gift and recruit a few new players. If not, they will be smashed.
Central United.. from all reports are stuggling at the moment. But last time I played them, their A's & B's were cruising through Div 6 undefeated or near enough. Don't think they have the cattle on the park to do that this year, but I don't think they deserve the disregard some people are showing them. All they need to do to be competitive is recruit some of their past players from out North. I can't remember a time I've gone out to CU and had an easy win. I think teams will go out their this year at their own peril. Personally I hope they get smashed, coz every time I've played against them I've come up against dirty pricks who like to take cheap shots.

Especially when they go squealing like "stuck pigs" to the SAAFL without knowing the facts.
