I love watching spells of fast bowling like we've seen today. So much better than watching innings of 550+

Well played Steyn & co. Game on...

Disappointing collapse. Lets hope the Aussies take some early wickets.

Yep. And it all started with Ricky and his VC. There is not the depth of leadership that we once had, one fears..

One fears for such a pathetic post. Leadership is fine. Ohhh both played bad shots, sack them. Make North captain.

I can sort of see some merit in what Purch is suggesting, can't take the conditions for granted .. That said, noone in cricket is immune from false shots.

Not an all-rounder!!

So he is not even a potential allrounder? Shouldn't we be at least investigating whether or not this mythical creature exists?

The pitch conditions might have something to do with it, this looks like a classical WACA type wicket now!

Pathetic post? I am not saying sackings or replacements are required. In fact they don't exist - and we are still no 2 ITW at the moment. Just saying that Ponting is the worst Australian captain since Kim Hughes. And Pup has him as a mentor...and yes, you are so right, they both played bad shots. And batting conditions were more difficult when Johnson strode to the crease...

Geez that Johnson is worth his weight, don't you think?

Incredible first over!

How long did they want to take for the referral? Far too long for a plumb LB.

Kepler "blood" Wessels said yesterday that days 2 and 3 were the hardest on this pitch.
He said the movement of the deck and pace would increase big time compared to day 1.

I aint got the cricket on the tv at the moment but sound like he might be right.
