at the MCG Rogers is 60*, 980 runs for the season, 200 behind Klinger with a game in hand. Hopefully he won't catch him

From the cricket.com.au commentary:

Klinger has made the most runs in a Sheffield Shield for SA, Lehmann previously 1168 in 2005-06, Klinger has 1180

Great effort from Klinger. I reckon he would have faced about 4 times as many balls as Boof did to get there

Up to the skipper now with the allrounders and tail should have knocked Tassie over for 150 yesterday but good batting from them stopped the rot

Now our tail has to do the same

S.A. at the minute are 5/219

This is pretty ordinary, we had them on the ropes yesterday yet let them make 300 now we are making starts but not going on with it like NFC said.

We only needed one batsman to make a decent score and we would have a first innings lead, hopefully the tail can wag.

Gotta give credit to Manou, I've been on his back for years and years but he's had a ripper season with the bat. Again making runs.

He's a dud in the shorter form of the game because he can't force runs and pick up the pace but he's developing into a decent FC batsman.

He has had a good year. His keeping is very very good, his captaincy has improved and whilst you will never convince me he should be in the top 6 of any first class side he currently has 592 runs at over 40 for the season. Super effort and one that could well see him rewarded with a spot on an Ashes tour.

Only 8 runs from being in the Top 10 run scorers in the comp, of which SA already have 3

interesting to see what SA will do in this match now, they will have a chance to win because Tassie have to win to make the final so they will probably set SA a gettable total. but if its a draw or SA win it will be a VIC Vs QLD final and that will be very one sided!!!
