This is pretty ordinary, we had them on the ropes yesterday yet let them make 300 now we are making starts but not going on with it like NFC said.

We only needed one batsman to make a decent score and we would have a first innings lead, hopefully the tail can wag.

He's a dud in the shorter form of the game because he can't force runs and pick up the pace but he's developing into a decent FC batsman.

His keeping is very very good, his captaincy has improved and whilst you will never convince me he should be in the top 6 of any first class side he currently has 592 runs at over 40 for the season. Super effort and one that could well see him rewarded with a spot on an Ashes tour.
