Should be a good first round
Although according to Bradman Saint Pauls should win by about 374 points

Also nice signature haha, are you referring to 'carey'?

im gonna have to agree i dnt think the st pauls v athelstone game will be a beauty i think st pauls will wipe the floor wit them, from what ive seen on oast performances in div 7 athelstone will go close to a 30 goal loss

Athelstone made the finals last year in Div 7 in both the C's and D's (Premiers) They touched us up by over 20 goals last year!

st pauls 'A' grade by 53points novsal to kick 8,kennett B.O.G
athelstone in the 'B' grade game tho by plenty.
you've gota keep on keep'n on .........

With the inclusion of approx. 6 ex-SANFL players into Henley's Div 1 side I expect once again their C & D Grade to be amongst the Top 3 in both grades.

are you kidding me footygod? if that post was directed at bradman best you should crawl back under the rock you come from champ.
Did i put smily faces everywhere to make it look like i was kidding or are you just dumb?
Maybe you're close to Bradman or mates with him or whatever- i dont care

But its been clear as day reading through this thread he is trying to put added pressure on SP.
What kind of person talks up a team as much as he has BEFORE a trial game has even been played?????
Looks like sour grapes to me, surely has some kind of history with the club- good or bad i dont know.

Now please 'carey' explain to me what was wrong with my previous post and why i should 'crawl under a rock'?
Cos you talk sh*t
only sour grapes i have are the idiots involved with the club like yourself who prob think you go alright but dont really know which way to hold the footy
added pressure
haha its amateur footy DIV 7
But your right the same d*ckheads who let st pauls down will prob let them down again
Maybe look in the mirror
Might even see a bald head ;)

and your bit with central and the crows gives it away who you are
another covino clone!
What div this is and what teams i support have nothing to do with anything here Bradman
Wouldnt matter if this was div 1 or div 10, talking up a team the way you have to make them look unbeatable BEFORE round 1 is just stupid. Anyone who supported the club wouldnt do that.
Obviously in the past something has happened between you and the club (and possibly carey?) because you reek of sour grapes.
Its like you're building them up so if they win you can say "told you so, anyone could have coached that team!"
but if they lose you can laugh and say how pathetic it is blah blah blah
Piss weak mate

I think you and Carey need to grow up a bit

So your not picking St Pauls??
You truly are a t0sser!

Ill be picking St Pauls
Doesnt mean i think they're going to go on and win it all without so much as a bit of tough competition!

You still havent told me who you play for Bradman?
Others have said Rosewater, so what does div 7 footy have to do with you....? Sour grapes?

To be honest, footy god, I don't think his statements have anything to do with sour grapes.

On one hand, it may seem like he's making St Pauls the hunted, but perhaps you need to look at it in another way. Word gets out that St Pauls are looking like putting together a couple of very good teams and it brings out a few more (have a look what it's done for Brahma Lodge) that used to play or are mates of players looking for a bit of success.

There may be some added pressure from his words, but what does it matter of they've gained good players and depth from it.

With that being said, I don't think St Pauls will be well ahead of everyone else in the top five. The top five will be very evenly contested.

I agree Quichey that like div 7 most years there will be several teams that will be a cut above the rest.
But i dont agree with his thinking that SP will just be on their own out in front, maybe say that in 3 months if they're dominating but not yet.

I just fail to see the need to come out on these forums talking up a club you have nothing to do with.
I think its clear he isnt doing it to try and get more players out there
I still think it reeks of sour grapes

Footygod if you think a ex champion player for St Pauls is talking them up a bit maybe poke your head in the div 6 thread and try to put something up there not to do with Brahma Lodge winning the big one. Its a footy forum were people put up there onions. If you dont agree with them, um bad luck!

You're a wise man Quichey...Div 7 is wide open!

Like every club we have tried to recruit to fill our deficiencies, i don't think we've recruited more than the average club...you lose a couple you gain a couple.

wow, i reckon quichey has a level head on his shoulders and i agree with what he said.
i also agree with footygod that you cant be raging hot favourites before trial games have started and it does seem that bradman is easily angered. perhaps he wishes he was still playing or something. must have been a fall out at saint pauls by the looks

Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.

Pretty good. Only a couple of big losses (Starry to Greenies, Dow to surgery), and pretty much the rest have decided to stay. Couple of players have returned after a year or two off, some new faces too. With these additions hopefully it means I won't have to play a key position and get a bit more freedom to run around ;)

He'd be good on a back flank too if he got the chance. Could create a lot of run from back there.
Hope you get some freedom Quiche, but I honestly don't like you're chances! There's only so many guys in any team (especially ours) that the coach can turn to when his back is against the wall.... And you're top of the list mate! That's what you get for being good at what you do. (You're not really that good though hahaha)
I hear what you're saying....It sounds to me like "WAAA WAAA BLOODY WAAA"
