Who's gonna get the job on The Big Shrek?

I would hardly call it a job Bobbie.

Understandable. Nothing wrong with having a kick for the fun of playing with some mates.

considering how he rates this league, the APFL hasn't seen a bigger star than The Big Shrek since....well The Big Shrek.
I say Dids should stand him

we've probably still got the B grade jumper he used to wear for us, perhaps we could get the great man to sign it and we could auction it off on the forum, do I hear $15??

From what i hear from the coach/players is that next weeks trial, there will be
no one playing that played last year, only new players will be played so they can have a good look at them all
So unfortunately The Big Shrek will not be seen in the Kilburn jumper. !!!!!!
Maybe he called play for Hummocks then the Kilburn players could also extract some revenge for his antics.

Geez I eye balled the big fella last night for the first time and hes no Sam Irish, looks probably the same build as Broady. Perhaps his pie days are over??

Ok enoughs enough from the Swamp, clearly Thommo isnt buying in to all the 'pie' jokes as I had expected him to, so its not quite having the effect I was hoping. Surely he's on here somewhere though given his job!!
Jokes aside, Daniel Thomas is a gun and will be super tough to stop in our league with the quality of HWE midfielders feeding him. He'll be great with the young blokes if he gets invloved with the Juniors and stuff. I'll pay that Ace, he's not overweight rather just built like the preverbial sh*thouse and will be almost unstoppable 1 on 1. Not quite sure about the Broady comparison though. Wasnt totally dominant in the Barossa but will be pretty close to it over here. He's my early tip for the Leading Goalkicker this season.

PS welcome Jack, where have you been, hows the health of our disasterous sidekick of a few weeks back.

Captain of Premiership last year, was awsome across half back given a bit of freedom, also good in the midfield, and in previous years was a good goal kicking full forward for the club. Rarely wastes the footy.

I have to pick you up there MC, I seem to remember Shrek playing at least 1 game of A grade for us, reckon it might have been against Balak at the start of the season one year. Not sure how many after that though... What can I say, we gave him a chance!!!!
