Just got told it's because Coves ground was deemed to have better spectator/player comfort than Ports oval....( 100% totally correct as well)

Jimmy Edwards must be wondering what is going on????

Firstly the local paper has M/Vale skipper Byrne winning the batting trophey for the A grade then T Bahr takes the captaincy as well.

Keep your chin up Jimmy :yawinkle:

Looks like more quality journalisim from the Messenger, The reporter would of been ringing Jimmy Edwards up all year for a few words about the games and then they stick a photo of the Silver Fox (T Bahr) and name him has captain in the finals report. Amateurs.

And whats with the Cove boys getting a photo in there again. Should it not be the Porties lads seeing they finished top of the table ! Or does the reporter play down that way ?

Interesting Travis being quoted as saying any team from the top 3 can win it.
Could this be the spur Seaford need for a finals charge ?

I seem to remember the same person saying the same thing when Porties finished 4th at the end of the minor round and end up winning the A Grade.

Those sort of comments could bite him on the ass!! Seaford will roll the Shoes this week..... Cove to get up in a tight one against porties but Porties to bounce back in the grandy.

Big call LH I think that Seaford have won once in 20 years against the Shoe and for me the Shoe's will win comfortably.

Spoke with the great man on Sat night and reminded him that March is his time of the year! :|
