Not real good anywhere other than in the ruck.

Does he follow the ball? United dont really have an forward ruck or back ruck unless spider sharman comes out of retirment.

Retirement????? Think you may have your wires crossed, he's 25 years old, I dont think he has retired just yet.

How many games did he play last year and why not? Is he playing this year?

Saturday was an epic clash. We fell 4 runs short chasing down 226. K. Daniel 113 not out in one of the best knocks i've seen. Lurch blasted 50 of about 30 balls. Our bowling cost us the game though. Pretty tight coming into last round. From my calculations Longies Dubby & Hamley are practically all on the same points.

Im shattered! so we must win this week then mate, who we got

H.B and i cant remember the last time they were'nt in the finals so they will be fighting for it.

if this banton guy is as big as they say then you would think he would just ruck all day. surely anyone could fill in for him for the few minutes he needs a breather.

also heard j.lowe may be back for this season or part of. any of the hamley boys confirm or deny?

also has christie left mallala? will he make it at league level?

J.Lowe will not be a season campaigner but if he comes back for the odd weekend he may play.

Will longies have a full side? H.B will not have Young. (sorry about the cricket talk, realise this is a footy thread)

Mick Davey is playing again this year. Longies cricket side at this stage should have everyone available except Jared East. No Youngy is a big loss for HB!

Yeah the Rod will definately be putting his hand up for the top job this year. Rumours are that Mark Pym is keen to hand over the reigns this year. J East has been a big presence during pre-season this year & has been bragging about adding 5 kilos to his wirey frame. He now weighs 63 kilos!

There is alot of hype surrounding J.East. Personally, I think he is over-rated.

Mate, read back through the threads, he has been picked up from an Div 1 side and is almost unheard off. But like you said, we'll have to wait and see just like all the new recruits for each club. Especially Virginia.
