Indeed, with the way things are going, even im going to be struggling to hold an a grade spot at the moment! Its good for the club though and i think everyone just cant wait til we get the season underway.

Take the $ away and 90% of these recruits would not be there.

I love peoples single mindedness. I hate to break it to a lot of people but the dollars at Brahma Lodge are nothing like people think. Have a look at the players that Brahma lodge have recruited and tell me one player that deserves a big wad of cash every week. Most players that have gone to the club would have had a limitited run in a grade sides (there are a few exceptions) in the next few years anyway. I can see where people are coming from but from my understanding (player at the club) the club realises they are a div 6 club and are paying players accordingly. They are not paying out $5000 a week to players probably closer to $500 a week (this is for the whole playing group not one player). Spread that out between 21 players and you will find that nobody is getting huge money. I will clarify by saying that, I have no idea what the footy departments budget is.
I would like to think that the majority of the boys at brahma lodge have come to support a coach that is trying to get a footy club moving in the right direction. I know he has a three year plan in place to see the club move up a div and i believe they have a very good chance to do this in the next few years. I know as a club we are like any team at the moment concentrating on making sure we do everything we can to make the top 5 and then see where the season goes from there. Hopefully we win enough games this year to make the finals and then see where we go from there.
Ok this is my Monday morning rant over with.
Anybody know the score from the trial game played on the weekend
