I was playing reserve footy at Centrals would probably be 10 years ago (atleast) and a young lad had his knee bent the wrong direction. I remember seeing him getting stretched off the ground and was pretty ugly sight. It happened in the first 2 minutes of the game against Port Adelaide but was the 2nd stretcher to be brought out onto the ground due to an incident with Johnny abbot prior to the first bounce.

Haven't had anything really gross happen yet, just annoying stuff that kept me out for ages. Groin and driver strains mainly. Had a nice concussion in '07 after getting kneed in the head. I sprain my neck pretty regularly as well but that's more due to the fact that when I was younger I used to read whole books while standing on my head. :?
Hey Goose, ya big stud! Take me to bed or lose me for ever.

WTF Jimmy ?? Were you playing in central Africa or something ??
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

One of the players brought it back from Asia. Full blown TB.

Back in the days when we all drank water out of an old cordial bottle.

Something like 16 out of the 20 tested positive for TB

On tablets for 6 months - no drinking - lost 12 kgs - that tells you something

Half the blokes said #$%^^ it and just took the chance

He is quite famous now - I'll let you know who he is when we suck some Coopers

A bloke in the U18 at Happy Valley Fc on the weekend playing for Cove, dislocated his hip. Head trainer wouldnt move him so he layed on the ground for 40 minutes while the ambulance came. After another 10 he was up on the bed with his green whistle!

This happend in a recent soccer match i played. Two blokes went up in the air, it was a 50/50 challenge and the player from my team landed on his arm. I realised he was slow to get up so i turned around and he snapped both the major bones in your left forearm threw the skin and dislocated his left wrist as well. Most gruesome thing i have seen in person.

Later on in the game their was a little bit of push and shove and the other bloke invovled in the ACCIDENT turned around and said "Do you wanna end up like you mate, ill do it on purpose to you like i did to your soft buddy." Do you think that turned up the intensity in the game, after words exchanged the player was coincedently subbed off five minutes later without going near the ball again.

Over 2007-2008 I had a 2nd grade hamstring strain (partial tear) 3 times over a 6 month period. first at preseason training in December. Second in the first trial game in March. Third in training the week before my planned return in May. Finally got three games in July/August and then rested the rest of the season.
