Berri has recruited a lot of players who have moved to the region for work. Teachers, police officers feature prominently.

I would say your name right now Big Bad Flog, but i can't unfortunately, because I'd get in trouble. I would be happy to PM you, but you are too piss weak to even have that set up, so I can't do that either.

Moving to the region for work is no guarantee of getting points waved - just ask Renmark about two tradies that moved to the area last year. Full points applied.

I'm not saying it's right - but the system doesn't cover tradies moving to the region for work as I understand it.
They're not regarded as 'professionals', which is pretty old fashioned really. I guess that would've been set by the SANFL.

Defintely has it's flaws, but majority of the people Berri have signed up, have legitimately moved to the town for work, so they should be covered by the no points rule. It's about time Berri had an influx of players coming into the town due to work committments anyway. You can't begrudge the club for that.

I have heard this. See my post a couple of pages back.
Heard his friendship with the Williams boys will see him out at Panther Park.
Good luck to him. Would be good to see the great man fit and firing in the A grade again.

Just Wondering if anyone knows if there is a curtain raiser before Saturday's game at Berri between the Crows and the Hawks and if so who is playing and what time they will start. I live in Mildura so haven't seen any of the local press. Thanks

I'm pretty sure the curtain raiser has been moved to 12.45pm now.
The AFL match will start at 4pm.
