Fringe 2009

Postby Footy Chick » Wed Jan 14, 2009 8:46 pm

I love the Fringe!

The Scardies are back for the first time in about 3 or 4 years (thank god) playing 1 show at the Zoo, definitely not missing out on that one!

Also want to catch Choppers effing Bingo this year and the "Is SA heaps good"? debate...

we had a massive night at the Garden of unearthly delights last year after we won the Gealic football grand final, had a great time hopefully we do it again this year.
We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.

Something that people in the performing arts do once a year to make them forget the fact that their chosen "career" isn't making them a liveable wage. I speak from experience on this. ;)

Yeah at the governor hindmarsh and he was brilliant went home in stitches and woke up the next morning with a six pack from laughing so hard, worth every cent.

A local comedian who is good and definately worth the $15 entry fee is Rich Naberhood who is playing at live at Sugar. Is a mate of mine who was also my school teacher, very funny man.

Saw him at the Arts Theatre in Sep/Oct when he toured on his own. Hilarious.

Opening night tomorrow night (Friday 27th) in the East End.

Will join the chorus, you won't be disappointed with this bloke .. He is one seriously funny entertainer!! :D

FC - Saw the Scardies 2 weeks ago and they were as entertaining as always ... Some of their stuff I'd seen/heard before, but they are always good value I reckon.
