I think he has captained some junior teams bazz, but this is certainly his first go at it in Section 1. Another thing he did before CK!!!

Fingers crossed he only misses this game. But taking him and CK out of our side has left us a huge hole to fill thats for sure. They both have 450+ runs and Hoppy is our best bowler so yes some big shoes to fill.

AF will agree with me here, me captaining the 20/20 counts as a sec 1 game so therefore i captained before him...

Hey CK if bloods reckons its such a micky mouse comp maybe it is his turn to sit out this week, oh what a coincidence it just happens to be the GF of the micky mouse comp. Bloods change the attitude mate or there will be severe consequences.

i think bloods will happily sit out if its like last 20/20 where he had to run 4 twice in the one over and 17 in total in 10 balls, where none were off his bat   still funniest thing iv seen in cricket where he was literally yelling "get there ball, ocme on the the ball" BENJAMIN

I just spoke to Hoss you are right to help the 17's out this week as you are NR for the T20 GF champ.

Just got info, WYC defeated Mitchell Park by 40 odd runs.

after being 2/55 or there about at stumps chasing 160 odd, mitchell park lost 3/8 to be 5/64. they then got to 5/100 or so to being bowled out for 120. Good win by the WYC boys especially defending such a low total without our best bowler in Hopkins.

Big test next week as we now will have Ramblers two games in a row, unless something goes extremely well for one of the two sides.

any other scores??

Ramblers defeated NH Outright, putting us clear 2nd. Will still be playing for 2nd spot next week with WYC. NH capitulated inside 30 overs in 2nd dig.

Mitchell Park played 1 short with one bloke not turning up. Very costly as it may have got them over the line and given us clear 2nd spot for finals. Looks like we have to earn it now.

From memory this result puts NH in bottom and relegation position?

yes mitchell park played one short one bloke didn rock up due to not getting a bowl last week apparently!! even if ur mob didn get the outright AF it was going to be a game for 2nd spot once we beat mitchell park..
and if it got mitchell park over the line the one wicket for 40 runs we wouldn deserve a chance at 2nd IMO.
sheidow now fourth as they got the outright 2nd to last ball of the day and plympton falling just short of the outright.
sheidow to play and must beat icc in last game of the year to make the finals

What was all the section 1 results? Plympton missed out on an outright by 1 wicket. after bowling westminster out for 82 in first innings, best with ball was Greg Pritchard with 5 for 17 from 11.

Pritchard got 3 wickets in 2nd dig. Michalak 2 and other bowlers 1. Plympton have Keswick next week. It is looking like the North Haven draws is going to cost Plympton on if we didint have Russ Hewitt as umpire that day because it was to hot for the old fellow. Oval was certainly playable according to the Association President.

Wow, some interesting scores popping up! I guess not surprising given the tightness of the comp.

We (Ramblers) were very happy and surprised to pick up the outright. So the top 3 are pretty much confirmed now, just the order remains in doubt.

Any word on the Keswick v Glenelg ANA game? Could be a pivotal result. That 4th spot is so damn tight... Bloody interesting finish next week!

and imagine if the SPCC got up against icc and its 1 v 4 n 2 v 3 two weeks in a row... would be ideal too see the sharks get knocked off two weeks in a row!
also ICC v WYC tomorow in the 20/20 final down at hackham...
western youth will hopefully have 11 players by the time the game starts...
