come on shrek.
one minute you tell people that the stuff written on this site in mainly crap etc etc
next minute your using this site as a reliable source.
with your recent efforts, its too bad hamley arent playing kilburn in a trial.
(or is your back still too sore?)

on that same subject it will interesting to see what comes from the Hamley vs Trinity & HWEFC vs Kilburn games.
i know they are only trials, but i can already see that the results will be a bragging point for 12+ months!

You make no sense Fester. I was talking a fair bit of crap myself so the source I based it on needn't be reliable.

Yes trials will be interesting. Kilburn v HWE is on Thursday 12th March under lights at Kilburn.

We are a bit behind the 8 ball at the moment, only just finding out we are in div 2. Have had a big turnover of players this year and I have no idea who will be playing in the trial. Would have liked to be in a stronger position as I'd like to beat Hummocks. I'm sure they won't be anywhere near full strength either as it's hard to get all the blokes together for pre-season when half live in the country and half in the city.

What a pity we are not playing United. At the rate players are leaving there, there may not be 18 players on the field by the end of the match.

Yeah true. But our new recycled water system will be online soon, so i wont have to wear knee pads and a helmet to pre-season training anymore ;)

Dont get your hopes up APFL players, reports are the system will not be up and running till end of year. Knee pads, elbow pads and helmets will still have to be the standard training and playing attire.

United throwing money at more recruits? Have they learnt their lesson? Money makes the world go round but it doesn't bring premierships to the water tower.

Bite Taken tosser.
Just because we have 3 new players all of a sudden we are throwing money at players. Hamley & Virginia have about 10 new players yet you don't mention them. :?
From now on any team that recruits 3 players for a year is throwing money. Get a life chump.

Mills, believe plenty has been spoken about him on here already.
Banton, if it's the bloke I'm thinking of is about 6 foot 8.
Guerin, Kadinas leading goal kicker last year.

Do any of them have a connection at United? My guess is plenty of Moolah was thrown their way as is United's usual practice.

As for Virginia, I have never heard of any of their recruits. They probably are offering a bit of money to get these people out there. How else would they get so many people from so many different locations.

Hamley Bridge, who knows what they are doing? They probably don't have a clue themselves!

All clubs pay money you peanut. Whether they deny it or not is up to them. I think as long as you can afford it, and to sustain your club at the same time then it should never be an issue to anyone. When clubs do what Hamley did 5 years ago it ends up putting them further behind the 8 ball than when they started. Having said that it sounds as if they are getting back on track and building up their club again which is great for the comp.

Did hamley really expect these blokes to show committment?? I hope your recruiting managers got the arse if he honestly thought that these were the best 4 blokes available as recruits last year! Good to see some fresh blood for Hamley this year.
