I agree.

Appreciate you might think these recuits are nice guys, but promoting a culture of participation and social sport at A grade level is pretty pathetic.

Jesus pinch. I have said elsewhere in this thread that I think they will be good A Grade players in APFL. Especially Macereth, Green and Latimer who are proven A-Graders in the Barossa and elsewhere.

NO KIDDING the fact they are good players is paramount!!! But we also needed to recruit blokes that will do the right thing. No more of the types who play, take money and run. I think this is a good direction to take.

So it is not a culture of participation smart a**e :)

If they are such great club people, why are they leaving their original clubs?

Seems to me that you are portraying them as average footballers who jump at the chance to grab a bit of cash at a struggling team where they won't be under any pressure.

Well i am glad you clarified that and are also recruiting to win a few games... it just got a bit worrying when all i could read on this site is about how nice a fellas your new recruits are off the field.

Collecting their purse and going home shouldn't be a problem if your recruits give everything on the field.

Exactly Pinch. But last years (except a couple) did not even do this.

The Big Shrek wrote:If they are such great club people, why are they leaving their original clubs?

Prob because playing for WFC is no longer enjoyable for them. They are not the first this year and will not be the last to leave Willaston for similar reasons. You would have to ask someone inside of Willaston that question.

If they left for the money they are being paid at Hamley....they must be really really struggling financially. They all do have mates at Hamley also and it is a pretty bloody good club. I guess they were surprised to find that clubs without cliques and bad politics actually do exist.

Macareth, Latimer, Green played the Vast vast majority of football in A-Grade at Willston and Centrals. What do you have to do to be proven.

Shrek you think what you like to think. I clearly stated that i think these guys are good footballers they might not be standouts but they will certainly be A grade players. You would be the only one who would try and make out theses blokes are average players trying to grab money and you would do it for a stir.. Like to see you under a little pressure!!!

This is not how H.B have been portraying them. Shrek you are an ignorant observer. There will certainly be pressure on all H.B A graders this year as there is a squad of at least 25 to choose from, on which all have huge potential.

Their reasons for leaving there previous club are deferential and modest not on the basis of chasing easy money.

FGH, is Hamley really a club without cliques and politics? I seem to remember a rather public expression of his views by Matthew Koch concerning the ring ins during the Hermann era. I guess all is well now that they have gone and Hamley can't win a game again.

Masterplan Man, I don't even know the blokes we are talking about. The impression I got was just from reading the Hamley posters. Seems like there is support from others for the proposition that they are average players. Even the Hamley blokes say they are average.

No worries champ. Just fling a few insults at me to hide the fact that you won't address the points. Here are the facts:

1)Hamley is a club without cliques or politics, you are joking.

2)Hamley will be crap this year with their crap ring ins.

Let's see who is right in 6 months time.

I am pretty new to this site.... So Shrekkie, what are your allegiances? From what I have seen you do seem to just float around slinging S**t at people.

Are you from Willaston? Or do you just hate Hamley fr some reason?

Someone else may be able to answer for him.

If everyone forum hopped like you and wrote (your new recruits are shit), (you will be crap again this year).

It would not make very good reading. Thankfully you do not have a twin.
If I wanted to hear from an A_sehole...I would fart.
