A couple of their indigenous players for Angle Vale looked quite good. For the all the hype around Brahma Lodge I didnt think a lot of them. However Walton did look very good.
Walton always looks very good though.........

I would be interested in knowing that you expected when you turned up to watch the trial...i thought some passages of play were quite good and when you consider that trials are used alot of the time to test players in different positions and for the coach to look at the new guys i didnt think it was to bad. This also gives the coach a good idea on areas that need to be looked at during training.
With all the hype about you guys that I read on here I thought you guys might of performed a bit better. Saying that though I know not all of your recruits played.
Angle Vale did have a lot of unfit blokes out there.
As the year goes on will be interesting to see what position Walton plays in.

Whether they play for Angle Vale during the home and away season will be the big question.

Did one or both of them play for Smithfield last year?

Not last year, the year before and a few other times in years before that, in between a few other clubs too, 2 brothers, handy players, just hard to keep around.

As far as i know all players who played for Brahma Lodge on Friday night have either signed or have been training with Brahma Lodge so far and are thinking of playing out there. I cant think of anyone who was a ring in as this would defeat part of the purpose of playing a trial game wouldnt it if half of your side had no intention of playing come the home and away season?

Your obviously not in the Know then!
Did a tall blonde skinny lad play also

Possibly get some toilet facilities?

Toilet facilities should be ok as I spoke with Azza on Friday night and he told me that the soccer club will let the visitors use their toilets - so the visitors wont have to leave the change rooms just walk through the door to the toilets

Azza also informed me that the council are looking to spend some serious money on the visitors change rooms as well wont happen until 2010 or 2011 but is in the pipeline

The oil pipeline? ;)

Very good!! ;)

It wouldn't matter which position Walts played in, he would still be having shots and kicking goals from the Back half of the square. Could be some big scores on the cards if he plays forward with Groover though. Walts could set himself a challenge this year and try to handball the footy....just once. What impressed me from the trial game (had plenty of time to observe the game from full back) was the dominance of the big men. The McKee brothers, especially Bung Knee Trav , and Solly carved up. Will be hard to stop those 3.

Think Hectorville are playing Kersbrook on March 28th at Daly Oval.
And another trial to be confirmed a couple weeks before that one.
