This is for anybody at the game on friday night. WHat standard of football would that have been compared to last year. Would brahma lodge have been top 3 bottom 3 or middle of the road. Dont factor in the time of year, just what you seen friday night.

I haven't been involved in div 6 footy for 6-7 years, so would like to know where the performance rates?

They scored a goal kicking to the club end from a poor throw in, I was more thinking that all of the hype that has surrounded The Lodge so far this year, that they would belt them.

I wouldv'e thought a 25 goal win playing 4 x 20 minute flat (no time on) quarters is a belting

It didn't seem like that much, you win.

I've seen better games of Div 7 football. To be expected though, it's February.

Just a question for the Brahma Lodge boys- Any chance you guys might spend some of your new found riches on the visitor changerooms rather than players?
Possibly get some toilet facilities?

I think this is being looked at by the Salisbury council. Unfortunately the building belongs to the council and not to the football, Cricket or Soccer club that runs out of it. As a result we are very limited in what we can do to the buildings even if we had the funds available to do so.

Toilet facilities should be ok as I spoke with Azza on Friday night and he told me that the soccer club will let the visitors use their toilets - so the visitors wont have to leave the change rooms just walk through the door to the toilets

Azza also informed me that the council are looking to spend some serious money on the visitors change rooms as well wont happen until 2010 or 2011 but is in the pipeline

As far as i know all players who played for Brahma Lodge on Friday night have either signed or have been training with Brahma Lodge so far and are thinking of playing out there. I cant think of anyone who was a ring in as this would defeat part of the purpose of playing a trial game wouldnt it if half of your side had no intention of playing come the home and away season?
