Heard an interesting thing Saturday night that Josh Coulther and Brett White who were supposed to play for Mypo this year have actually now signed for Karoonda. As well as this Panda and the CHF from last year (can't remember his name) also are playing for Karoonda. This would leave a huge hole in Mypo's side.

If thats the case that will be devastating for the Tigers. I've heard there's an injury cloud under one of their key midfielders as well.

Yes Joel Eckermann. But not as bad as originally thought, I think 8-12 weeks out tho.

yeah i have also heard that damien cross is now coaching out there, james zadow is the new president and mypos head trainer, greg wynne, was seen at karoondas training last week...

the remaining pedler brother has made the move, as has brad martin, actually, the remaining half of mypos a grade that havnt previously been mentioned as signing there yet, are all at karoonda this year...

looks like it could be a gun year for karoonda and a bleak one at mypo as they will have no a grade team, coaches, training staff, officials or even supporters as they have all made the move out to the mallee...

Thats a good question Hills. I think you've got that right 9 points there, plus Rankine i think is 2. Tailem's quota must nearly be full.

Marks sounds handy, will be interesting to hear if he's a confirmed recruit or just a rumour at this stage.

heard the other day that todd downs could possibly be steping down as tailem captain. also heard that they are looking at replacing him with a younger captain possibly gregurke or hogarth, both would make good captains i think.

Totally agree cougar, i think juggling both the captaincy and being president with prove to be alot of work for Toddy Downs. I also think you have hit the nail on the head with the next captains, both Gregurke and Hogarth are very professional and love the tailem Bend footy club and they are very well respected within the players group and alot of younger players would look up to players like these 2.

So Toddy is stepping down? First I heard of it.

I don't really see how him being captain would affect his presidency. I mean if he gives in the captancy, he's still gunna play right?

If he doesn't continue maybe Muffy will go back into the role being a previous captain? Hogarth would be a great choice, but might still be a little young.

Mannum write up in the Standard. Apparently Justin Maloney (retired) only player loss from last year.
