Well well Spanner has come back with more figures and the outright victory that Kangies can get will give the boys from Kangies a finals chance? :-B

Yeah its the runups, and the outfield has numerous potholes in it at the moment that are continuosly being filled in...the cockies are almost gone but the damage has been done. basically there are better ovals at the moment to host finals.

So you are saying that Noarlunga oval is unfit for cricket??
Might put a few people who worship the oval and are quick to bag other teams ovals (seaford) back in there place.......

the oval is in great nick but a lot of work goes into keeping it that way from club members.

The problem is the run up's that were ment to be completed when the new pitch went down prior to xmas. This did not happen and is planned for next season.

Also cockeys are almost gone and the maintance of oval is in full gear.

No there has been games of cricket played on it every Wed night and every Sat morn and arvo.

But when you are looking for the best ovals to play finals and you only require 3, the RUN UPS are not to the standard that we expect.

I was there watching the game and the answer is no. Seaford and Cove have good rivalry and both teams would want to win the right way. Can't believe people are talking about playing cricket this way really...
