Oh thats right, i forgot, we have reserve days now because we kicked up a stink last year. You may be yet singing our praises.

pity it wasnt there last year Giggsy, i would have much rather won / lost after actually playing a GF than how it actually turned out.

if Dutchy wanted to hit one of your players, he would have done it properly

be good viewing!

Ruffhead wrote:Oh and by the way just to set things straight Frith was on the war path hitting boundry after boundry so you put fielders back to catch him.

i hear they couldnt go back far enough to catch him ;)

Paralowie is a smallish ground :)

Ruffhead wrote:this also considering that myself and first change were both injuried so two bowlers down.

is that like the "i missed 2nd gear" excuse people use when they get whooped in a drag? it sounds just as lame.

sounds like the same excuse Paralowie used when the last played Rose Park and they lost

Ruffhead wrote:So guess what boys don't pat yourselves on the back too soon very weak performance against someone you thought you could run through.

coming within 3 runs of an outright win against you boys is a weak performance? actually i can believe that after the last time we played you guys.

coming within 3 runs of an outright win is not weak and neither is coming within 1 wicket of an outright win either.

correct there. either way is not a weak performance at all, just thought it was funny that "Ruffhead" was calling the Paralowie performance weak.

It actually sounds like it would have been a good last 2 hours to watch with the game and a spot in the finals up for grabs for both teams depending on what happened in the last couple of overs.

I like the way we hit just under 200 in 2 hours and we are getting called weak and playing for a draw from the start. Like Dutchy and myself have said , it was only the last 2 overs we shut up shop. far out!

No the only bullshit is the spirit in which the game was played. I have never experienced such low comments made by another side. A bit of sledging is one thing but the personal comments were and are way outta line, and considering your keeper was the main offender he should of just got on with it instead of behaving like a whiny little bitch when he came out to bat. Things such as calling players homos and the such are not right you should stick to the game guys, but I guess if your captain can't control himself (he felt it nessesary to throw a ball at one of our players and not for run out chance just to be a c***) I don't see where the rest of the team could go.

Oh and by the way just to set things straight Frith was on the war path hitting boundry after boundry so you put fielders back to catch him. Like it has been said we were in deep s***t until Paralowie showed just how much they depend on so few batsmen (there's a tip fellas not much depth), this also considering that myself and first change were both injuried so two bowlers down.

So guess what boys don't pat yourselves on the back too soon very weak performance against someone you thought you could run through.
please tell me where we have pat ourselfs on the back?

as for the throwing the ball at your batsman your kidding arnt ya? it was an under arm throw that hit him just above his pad when the guy was standing in front of the stumps so saying that i threw it at him insted of the run out chance really does show how much you know you fool there was no run it was on my follow through.

and on the depth again your kidding arnt ya if it wasnt for reidy you'd be bottom in div2!

You just gotta build a bridge and get over it. Concentrate on getting your team right for DIV 2 next season.

Where were all these blokes during the year?. i still cant believe the shit we are getting for winning. Haven't heard sooking like this since Wayne Harmes punched the ball back in from a meter over the boundary against collingwood in a grand final!

Sounds like it was an exiting game none the less, good luck to Paralowie in the finals...... but sound a bit like the Port Power Chokers, a few games now this season where they have thought they had the game in the bag and then the noose tightens..... twice againse Rose Park? interesting to see how they go against the top team....take note NEK....
Paralowie have had a depleted bowling line up in a few games this season. You guys just have to move on and stop complaining.

you guys actually did us a favour by shutting up shop. Add 6 points to rose park......now paralowie is 5th, Fitzroy 6th and in Div 2 !!

the gravity of the consequences of flippant rules (ie. point deductions) are now quite obvious. Not only can teams miss out on finals, but teams can be relegated.

They should do away with bonus points altogether and Paralowie would of got 4th anyway.

Nothing wrong with point deductions if used correctly, ie clubs are given notice, warnings and can appeal. If they have no idea how to do it, then don't give them. As I said before, I find it very hard we are the only club to play an unregistered player. In fact I know of another club that were given notice of an unregistered player, I wonder why we did not get the same thing?
