7/160 off 44 overs chasing 187
They are saying the Vics need 28 to win [been 1 run wrong all during the chase]
Wrong its 27 a TIE will win it for the Vics

Do the Vics have to take the Batting Power Play ?
Is It compulsory ?

Batting powerplay and it's great news for Qld. Field has to come up, pressure builds, and what do you know, wicket!

Game on!!!

All out 175
Qld the franger champs

Swan coming in at 8/133 and hitting 30 off 28 balls + 2/42 is my man of the match

Cameron Whites chat b4 the Vic innings started
" Chasing 187 you get those runs 9 times out of 10 hopefully today its not that 1 time ."

I haven't had a chance to see the game, but sounds very thrilling.

I am very pleased someone else won apart from the Vics!!

Vics had the game won at 8/133
Then unbelievably Mckay + Harwood both got injured at about 8/150
The Vics finished off with White and Hussey bowling out
About 45 hit in the last 5 overs of the innings was a big help to Qld.

Instead of White and Hussey on another day it might have been the following bowling out
harwood
mckay
.........
nannes
siddle
mcgain
mcdonald

That was the turning point in my opinion, I reckon Dutchy was a bit unlucky not to collect

Having said that 188 was a simple task and the Vics should have won

Well, you said if was a gift, but anyone who accepted the "gift" would have lost. So, rather than than giving, it took.

I'm certainly not having a shot at you here, but I'm always amazed that in spite of all the topsy turvey results in finals over the years, there are still people who believe in certainties.

Its a punting term many of us use....

Losing a gift certainly gives you the reality check you need in punting and makes you sharper

I guess just like a Christmas gift it can be stolen! :D
