Exelby spends too much time drunk at the bar and cannot remember what he said to whom gauging by some of the things i heard. He managed to bluff his way into that job by promising players and has delivered very little. I also heard Marion have lost Bilney and ray-zwar (there best 2 from last year) Fishpool retired, banyer maybe too, stokes, leyton, kelly, mcCard probably and a stack of fringe players to CL Gardens FC.
There has been no howes, wendleborn, billings and the others that ex offered at part of the lure and only ins were Brad Smith and Tarque Williamson.
I drove past sturt Rd the other week and they had about 16 out on the track.

I also got told that the club was thinking of getting a phone on a contract for ex to actually make him ring players as so far he hasn't even contacted all their players registered from last year.

would be interesting to know if anyone can confirm or deny any of this, but it doesn't sound like it is working cohesively down there again

bomberland. who's your source at Marion? you seem to know alot of inner workings. what else you got?

I could not reveal my source, but it is interesting the grumbles you hear around the area having a drink etc.

Bilney went to a VFL club, his cousin plays for Nth Melbourne and Ray-Zwar has gone to Adelaide Uni. Both of those finished in top 10 in medal count.
Is the points system in yet? they will be hard to replace from the few games i saw last year V cove and brighton

You're spot on about Ray Zwar it will be hard to find someone else who has no influence on a game whatsoever.

I also drove past Sturt Road a few weeks ago and all I saw were lawn bowls greens. You'd have to be keen to detour into that oval just to check out their numbers? Are you thinking of hitting the track out there? Weren't their best two from last year Bilney & Miegal (runner - up b&f)?
