Daniel was on nothing like the figures he suggests at barossa
He could get heaps in Adelaide, Salisbury North where his uncle is coach
Just bul**it figures

151 has no idea, d thomas was on a hell of a lot over in the barossa so dont try and spin crap like that. if he wasnt on big money then why did he travel out there evry week if he could be helping his uncle out for sals nth?? unless of course there were no hot chips for sale at the canteen at norths. he is as big as a house and can only play as a permanent forward anyway. he edid ok for barossa cos he had the best midfiled in the comp feeding him

Days....Thanks for your vote of confidence
Max not spinning you crap
The reason he went to Barossa outside a " reasonable payment "
Was his wife parents lived at Kersbrook, Number one, Thats where they spent most nights after footy, so travel wasnt a issue
Was assistant coach there, Number two
After spending a couple of years playing in Mildura, wanted to play country footy again as he enjoyed the country town culture, Number 3
New quite a few players at Barossa, due to his affliation with W'ville West Torrens, Number 4
New O'Connor all his life due to the friendship he had with Daniels Father. Number 5
His brother in law had just also signed with Barossa, Number 6
So as you can see there are many other reasons other than money why he went to Barossa
cheers

With his job with the SANFL, cant devote the time
To his credit HE went to the club and said as one of the 2 Imports he can't devote the
neccasary time to the Import spot, and the time to be an Assistant
He was the one that took training in Adelaide
This shows that Daniel is a QUALITY LAD
Yes he knows Brandt
Money have no idea what he is getting

Good point Liquid Cinfidence. With guys like Christie, James, Spencer, Angus on 400+ I cant imagine Thommo wouldve settled for much less. Long drive to Kersbrook from Wakey! Why Hummocks??

Could be a real possibility this year. With a crook knee I can gaurantee Amos won't be moving far from the mixed lollies at the canteen.

Maybe Thommo will have to settle for a famous steaky from Wakey. Are they still $2.50?

D.T. to plonk himself 30 from goal outbustle his opponent, and kick HWE 6 goal 12 a game.

Will still get some serious dough for his troubles, regardless of how GOOD A LAD he is.

Look forward to the HWE v Hamley game, or should I say the battle of the leagues best forwards, Thomas v Barry Burgess.
I'll be there to see them go head to head with the best fist pumping, finger pointing and lawn mover actions after each goal.
Are you prepared to pay the price? WILL YOU PAY THE PRICE?

Who was the last Full Forward in APFL to kick 100? Is it just my bad memory or has it been years since someone has done it.
One day original John Palmer will be found & the truth will be known.

Good call Fester. I would say Oliver too with others to have done it in the nineties Scott McArdle, Scott Velling?, John Brooks, Boo Eddy, Moo Smith?. There are probably others that I cant remember.

I seem to recall a rumour about Oliver joining Kadina a couple of months ago. Also heard Whyalla so I'm not sure what he's up to.
If you don't like it, change it. If you don't want to change it, it can't be that bad!
