If plans go ahead as they intend, expect them to be quite a formidable force next season..

Dutchy doing some ground work is he?

Would this plan involve players from another club within churches? Have heard a whisper along those lines, particularly a certain bowler.
Could be a strong Div 1 next year. I know we're looking to gain some ex-players back into the club for next year.

Speaking of next year, which team is most capable of coming up from Div 2 and being a solid performer?

Some players from within, and a few from outside..

I think Paralowie would be better than any of the div 2 sides.

Northern Wolves if they had a full side would be competitive but wouldnt win many.
Western XI would be the best side to come up, but rumor has it they may lose a couple at seasons end and a couple players not quite up to the mark, possibly one more season before they are ready.
Adel. Lutheran will be around the mark again but cant rely on Brine for ever :P

This is true, but surely common sense must prevail in these circumstances. If Paralowie are the best option for that grade wouldnt you leave them there? Otherwise you have an average div 2 side come on, get smashed for a year, whilst the other side goes down and does the complete opposite. Neither scenario would be good for either club..

If anyone is wondering, the address of the association website has changed from

cca.sa.cricket.com.au

to

ccca.sa.cricket.com.au

i agree in principal. Powowie game depends on line up....you would think they would want to avoid releagtion to div 2 and man up big time. Hendo......whats the goss mate. Shaun ???

expect the unexpected this week from all teams.....some captaining deciosions could backfire and throw the final 4 and final 6 upside down.

Congrats Hodo...... Sounds like you Vista boys had a day out. Who was bowling for Morialta, they normally have a pretty good bowling line-up.

By the sounds of it us fitzy boys need to do something special next week to make finals.

How many of that 350 did you get spinny? No Balneaves or Vanderwerf today?

Dont think well be too nervous. We make the runs were playing finals, dont make the runs were not. Those rubbish 3 points that were deducted from our points could come back to bite us.
