Independents v Mid Murray uncertain for this season.
Was programmed to be played as a curtain raiser to the West v Sturt game at Waikerie.

Wouldn't be too many players left in the Mid Murray to play!

Independent comp has no room to be smug about that sort of thing.

And I reckon a fact is that the Independent comp could be in a similar position in very short time if we don't watch out.

I thought the Independents were playing the Riverland B Grade in curtain raiser to North v South? No disrespect to Independents and Mid Murray, but I would have thought they could put a more entertaining game on as a curtain raiser to a league game of football. They should be showcasing RFL on that sort of stage, not Independents. I know I will get my head ripped off for that comment, but tough titties.

The traditional interleague matches will still be held this season, as well as the Centenary curtain raiser.

As far as your comments on the curtain raiser to the SANFL game, I ain't buying into that one.

I think you are right BC, that the best standard of footy should probably be played before that game. Would be good to have Waikerie vs whoever they are playing that week as a curtain raiser.

Spencer here for work, not footy, so I'm not sure that he will be any points. I wouldn't include him in the throwing a bit of coin around category either. 'Dis' has looked good on the track though, and should fit in well.
