No names for you, don't want you to go out and research them before game-day. Just wait and see.

You'd wanna hope that yourself and the other recruit are Chris Judd and Buddy Franklin, because I'm sorry to say that with the Apos, Lambshed and Puntereri all gone, the cupboard is pretty bare.

not me mate, i'm just an avid onlooker around the club. All i'm saying is they were very impressive.

well if your just an onlooker then theres no problem with putting some names on here. Feel free....

onlooker/involved with the club, and i think it's in our best interest to keep it hush hush... what do we gain by naming our new boom recruits... we give opposition the opportunity to study up on them, and give them time to produce a game-plan to nullify their impact...

no need for names, just be preapared for a new-look glenunga side that has acquiried some quality recruits who can easily win a game off their boot in div 6... they both have SANFL experience, (albeit a few years ago)

Wow, that will be an advantage in the 1st week.
What happens thereafter?
If they are that good it doesn't matter if you name them or not.

I would be interested to know how many Div 6 coaches do this kind of homework before each game....im sure that most standout players draw attention to themself early in the game and then the opposing coach will react with a match up....

Exactly, and that in turn frees up another player to dominate if you have the depth. Unfortunately Eddie, i don't think many div 6 players will have the fitness to run around with one of our recruits at Glenunga for a quarter, let alone the whole game. In all seriousness, they better have at least 10 fit & quick blokes to match up on him during the course of the game.

Dogmatic, yes you're right. It'll be an advantage in the first week (the first week you play each side - which equates to an advantage in each game for the first half of the season)

I think you'll be proven wrong there, champ.

We'll be fielding a full-strength side week in week out who all know how to play the game.

he ran 15.2 in the beep test. Accompany this with top quality skills. Probably the best set of hands going around.

What's more, the recruits onboard with him are in the same category. Different type of player, but still carry the same ilk and finesse.

I reckon most teams would have a couple of blokes that could do fifteens, I know we've got a couple of fit bastards that can.

Yes Kookas, you could be spot on the money!

Not many would run 15 in the beep test from div 6. He could have gone harder too.
