I cant recall having anything derogative to say about the Glenelg Football
club in any of my posts this year.

Judging by the reports on "The Roost" and "SnoutsLouts" sounds like it was a cracker of the game. Maybe they should get a DVD of this game, send it to every primary school and make every kid watch it as an advertisement for the SANFL compared to the flooding AFL stuff they normally watch.

Well done to North, bad luck to the Bays, gotta re-group and prepare for the Dogs this week.

Come on Bays, you've worked too hard this year not to make the finals...
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

A fantastic game of footy at the bay in perfect conditions. Much better than anything ive seen the AFL serve up this year!

Always sweet to beat the Bays even though we didnt play to our best, at least our forward line worked better yesterday.

Nah, actually it was another regular and let's just say he's not too happy about it either.

Did you read Peter Goer's mention of North supporters?

Damn we're a controversial lot!

Perrie was North's best, kicked 6 goals, 3 in the last quarter when the game was there to be won and Huddo was good but weirdly enough the turning point in the first quarter was when O'Hara replaced Huddo.

Wedgie

Given the crows recent performanace, and the Sarge and Huddo's form over the past three weeks, how seriously do you think they will come under consideration

Sarge will be in, straight away no doubt.
I can't see him playing again for North as he's the sort of player that will be even better for the Crows than he is for North as he is a Crows man through and through.
Huddo I don't think will be as the Crows 2 ruckmen were 2 of the better players on Saturday and I couldn't see either dropped.

thanks for the update wedgie

I thought Clarke was good in the first half and faded in the second while Biglands was not sighted in the first half and had a strong second half, so this weeks selection will be interesting

Perrie and Hudson were both very good. I agree with Wedgie that Perrie will play for the Crows from now on. Hudson had more game time this week and he rucked most of the last term. Did a great job but with Clarke playing well probably won't play for the Crows just yet. Not far off though. Would not be beyond him so one slip form Clarke and Huddo will take his spot. Hope for North's sake Clarke keeps playing well.

should north have won by more if they had kicked straight or was it as close as the score suggests?

With straight kicking North would have won by more, and had the game sown up earlier, but Glenelg also had their chances to shut the gate on North.

Bays applied great pressure going into time on in the last, it looked like a goal was coming and that would have sewn it up. IT just didn't happen that way and North capitalised on a tired Bays team.

Anyone at the game have a chance to talk to McConnell? or read his body language? not that you would point the blame at him but he would clearly had been feeling it after "that kick"
