D Hussey in, hits four. Shrek's prediction: the dud will be out for 79.

D. Hussey is no dud. He's not in good form but he is still a very good player.

Gee haven't we made an artform of stuffing up the basics this summer: dropping catches, bowling two sides of the wicket, poor shot selection (not respecting your opponent and pushing shots that aren't there) and tonight turning blind and causing a run out...

basic stuff boys basic stuff....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Yes, well you get decisions in your favour, and some against you.

Lucky for Ferg it was fellow South Aussie Steve Davis at that end! :)

Definitely evens now, and probably a pro to the stance that you don't walk and wait for the umpires decision if need be.

"if need be" - caught behind, fielder catches the ball but umpire not sure ;)

Righto, so where are Mike Husseys critics now? last 5 games 4 half centuries and a 49. Nothing wrong with that.
Also David Hussey batted well and if continues to make runs will be worth the initial failure.

Looks like i am right again  ;) I still think Ferg should be batting ahead of him though.

Good win Aussies, its not like we've been getting flogged all season, heaps of close losses. When we get the makeup of the side right we will be ok. Teriffic to see "The Dave" have a good innings after slaying teams in the franger cup for the past five years! Be patient, the imploded poms are'nt too far away.

Mike Husseys return to some form is good. Seems to be enjoying his role coming in as mr fix it at the end. Good to see him making runs again.
