He'd smash 'em all....especially the Collingwood Clokes, and he'd save the best for Cloke dad....

I agree with you up to the last point, old man Cloke came from a pretty hard team of a pretty hard era.

JC was a fantastic half back line player ala Chad Cornes. Malthouse never forgave him when he played him at CHF in the GF

Rumour has it, it has something to do with a memorbrilla( spelling ??? ) jumper that went missing from a players locker.

Now that is funny =)) =)) . Jason Cloke has never been, nor never will be half the player Chad Cornes is.

I think even Ken McGregor had Cloke covered in the talent pool.

Jason Cloke was one of the most overrated players in the AFL.

Cloke was a one trick pony and evryone knew it and that is why he was delisted.. Was very good when he was zoning off or playing as a loose man but unfortunately for Jason every other side was awake to it.

Hence my comparison with Cornes - he floated across the HB line taking marks, but the difference was that every other team let CC continue to do it

No the difference with Chad is that he is a far far superior player and he has the ability to play many positions while Cloke just did not have that capacity...

I'd agree with that. I am not disputing that CC is a better player

It was Cloke's play for a couple of years across that HB line that was similar to CC - he always ran to bring a 2nd CFC player into the contest, but Malthouse always blamed his game in the GF for losing it
