At this stage i know Noarlunga have no plans to jump ship, although it has been talked about between the players and the majority want to stay in the Southern League mainly due to travel distances.

Your only five min. from Vale most of your games will only 30min drives if that only have to go to rapid bay once a season and that is just as far as we have to go about 65 km from goolwa besides at least the temp down here is only 25-30 when its 40 up there

Definately true about the weather, at least you guys have been playing cricket and i suppose only enc bay, goolwa and rapids would be a trek, but like you said if one of Southern teams was to leave it would leave the SCA with only 5 A Grade teams, not an ideal number.

shoe boy wrote:lets all hope we get some cricket this week!

Thursday night 20/20

M/Vale v h/Valley Morphies to good for a very ordinary Valley
Shoe;s v Cove A belter with the Shoes to win infront of a big home crowd
Flag v Kang Kangies to good unless Brad gets going?
S/R v Pt Noarlunga Porties to good and we may see another record with the Bose to go off.

Sat 1 dayers
Pt Noarlunga v Cove huge game top spot up for grabs the Cove to get up after their belting from thursday night
Kang v M/Vale Morphies need a miracle to get into finals but will get up here
S/R v Noarlunga Shoes to good and Junior to beet Boses record? I hope you foot injury is all good Dillgaf

Please note ShoeBoy the spelling is 'Boes' and if 'Boes' has a good innings down at Seaford, Junior would need 100 overs to hit as many 6's! Porties to sew up top spot this week against Cove in another quality game to be played between the best 2 sides. :)

Ive only batted once on the Noarlunga pitch. Golden duck to a full toss so I cant offer any advise for batting on it.
Needs a slab of concrete at each end so fast bowlers get a few smooth steps before they deliver the ball. Glad im not a fast bowler.
OH NO!!!. I cant bat, I cant bowl fast. Why do I play this game?
