Interesting to hear that Marble Range have lost one of their best players(if not best) to another league. Is their anyone to confirm? Massive loss if true

A council worker told me the PL City Council are taking over the operations of the ravendale community sports center shortly. Can anyone confirm this as it looks like we have another lesuire center debacle on our hands. skipper46?
If only that had have listened to the rate payers

when will sam sarin come in and buy it for office space, school or maybe it could be used as a building academy ;)

Massive news if it is true

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

a very sad situaution for all involved. the location was never going to work based out there. wayback football clubs financial woes should have proven that it is a no go zone down amongst the housing trust fraternity. being a new school out there (which amazes me due to the very ordinary location) may be the only saviour of ravendale.

the money should have been spent on poole oval or centenary.

we do find it tough over summer to get people out here with no serious hockey or football taking place. there has been talk of changes at the top but I am unsure of what will eventuate.
we have some great volounteers out here as was the case over the weekend at a wedding function, but to little is being left to to few and I have also noticed more and more of a divide between hockey and football people which is a big concern. we all need to work together to make this work.

poole oval

Anybody know a young lad from Kimba Called Jake Redden?
I think he is about 19 years old.

If so, how does he go on the footy field and which position does he normally play?

If so, how does he go on the footy field and which position does he normally play? Havent seehim play since u/12s but would imagine he would be hard at it in and under type.

Yeah, I would think so too.

Haven't seen him since the under 16s but he was always in that group of young lads from Kimba that was making various rep teams etc.

I would imagine he can play, young utility who could play anywhere basically.
