Tas v Vic Franger Cup

Postby rod_rooster » Sat Feb 07, 2009 11:23 am

I only started this topic to discuss a bit of commentary i just heard. Michael DiVenuto just came up with this gem:

"generally in conditions like this it is always good to get up the other end sometimes"

WTF :? :?

By the way Tas are 0/12 (4.4). Game has been reduced to 48 overs a side.

Who won? I saw Tassie's innings but had to go out for the Vic's innings.

McGain bowled pretty well, was tonked though. Birt smashed them and got out thanks to a ripper catch from Wade, the keeper who wasn't keeping.

Looking at the Fox Sports highlight package, there was plenty of action in this game, big hitting, ripper catches, a tightish contest.
