Well its going to be a nice sunny day tomorrow, so i'm glad Grainger went with the shorter faster players, excellent to see a senior colts player recruited to the A grade for his first game, Im a little suprised that he didnt go with someone like Chapman if he wanted speed. It's good to see that he's not going to risk the bigger names when they aren't 100% fit. I think its set for a blockbuster tomorrow! Bring it on!

You guys seem to be in the know how when it comes to lofty. How do you come across the teams so quickly? Wouldn't they have selected the side only last night.

Who is this under 17?

The team sheets are posted around various places in the hills, i also know a lot of people that play there, so this came direct from one of them. The under 17's name is Shane Maslin (I think!).

Yes that is correct, good, skillful and smart player, best on ground in HFL u17s, would cause many problems in a forward pcoket.

Fair first game for a young lad from the senior colts. Uraidla are a fair team so it should be a great learning curb for the lad. Dont underestimate Loftys speed and skill. Remember their B grade are top so they have heaps of depth. Ross Wait and Matt Baldock are the other two handy inclusions. Ray Ebel (Hamstring) out and Le Gallant in.

i think you'll find wait did play last week but was severely sick and only played a few minutes before calling it a day. fleet, stapleton and becis didnt suit last week either but are still noticeable absentees. should be a great game with plenty of fresh faces ready to give it their all. good luck to young maslin in his first game. ive heard the kid has some talent. does alright with the ladies too

interesting to see ed le gallant playing in the blockbuster tomorrow. the uraidla kid was once a regular member of loftys junior sides but strangely left the successful sides due to some influence from his mother. the kid has travelled all over the hills since looking for a side that suits him (or his mother). looks as though he has found a club worth staying around at although couldve been having as much success had he stayed put in the first place. good luck to the man

Mt Lofty over Uraidla.
Hahndorf easliy over Mt Barker
Onkas flogged Bridgewater
Blackwood over Ironbank

Disgraceful sportsmanship by Uraidla, not even bother about the Courier Cup presentation to Mt Lofty. As the cup was being presented, Uraidla turned their backs on the presentation and went on with a post match address. This was disgraceful,

YOOOUUUU PIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its been a while but we're back where we belong in the August/September action...does this mean the grand final will be at mt barker because that would be an atrocious venue for the GF??? should be either at onkas or still at lobey with hahndorf as a possibility if either of those teams make the GF??

Agree with you here Bobby.
I don't have my finger on the Central pulse like some of you blokes but I do know the showpiece of HFL football should never be held at Mount Barker.
Has it been held there in recent times? Any decision made to have it their would surely be done for political, not football reasons. In all seriousness, the game should be played at Milang before Mt Barker even gets considered.
