There is nothing in the Association rules/constitution that would allow this round to be rescheduled for Sunday. If you think this should be allowed, you should submit a proposal for consideration at the AGM.

There is nothing in the rules because you would have to get all teams in the comp to play and that wont happen.

Fitzies have a 20/20 day on Sunday, ex-cricketers versus the footy club. So we are unable to play unless someone was interested in a 20/20 double header.

I must say i am very bored, someone drum up something random, this forum has become a fraction stagnant.

Fitzroy will you look at hosting another 20/20 carnival? Perhaps we can incorp. it into the programme next season? I still hear people talking about it and the fun had on the day!

Para Vista are you dirty that you will not receive the $950 bonus from the government because you earn more the 100k per year :P

I think that we would host a Twenty20 Competition again next year if enough clubs were interested. I played in my first season at Fitzroy and thought that it was a good day.

Pretty annoyed at the weather forecast for Saturday. Even though the guy i wanted to play against isnt playing, i would still love to play.

Bowling to BB tonight was great. First two balls got him Plumb LBW both times. He was really struggling. He would be lucky to bat in the top 6 this game on his recent form.

I agree. This forum has become boring. Somebody say something.

Yeah BB. Those defensive shots to some reasonable bowling, then a couple of cut shots, which were pretty close to the body. I will give you credit, you hit the bad ball. Too bad you couldnt hit any of the balls that were on the stumps. You had absolutely no idea.

Old, unimaginative sledge.. :P As Ace says, as long as we can put food on the table, our income is adequate. ;)

Yep, but with cliche`d, recycled, lame sledging like that, he is only a few keystrokes away from being outed.. ;) C'mon Phantom, tell us all who you are!! ;) I can't help but think that under that Phantom costume of yours, there's a chirpy little womble just bursting to get out..!??!! 8)

NEW ASSOCIATION WEBSITE!

Postby Ecky » Fri Feb 06, 2009 3:10 pm

Since we are using MyCricket for our stats now, we have been given a free website as part of this deal. The address is:

http://cca.sa.cricket.com.au/

It is relatively basic but I have been playing around with it (what I can) and have copied over all the important stuff from our old out-of-date website.

Please add it to your bookmarks as all the important association news will be posted there from now on. Also, if you have suggestions to improve the site, please let me know. We can't do everything, as it has to fit into the MyCricket template, and my html skills are not that advanced, but we will take all suggestions on board.

Contact the association statistician, Glenys Phillips at cricketstats@adam.com.au.

They are probably missing because either your captain or the opposition captain (whoever won that game) has not put in the match report yet.
So you might want to speak to your captain too to make sure it isn't his fault for being slack!

Don't blame you Mr Phantom, this forum has lost all the interest of just about everyone.
Except for the fitzroy boys!! Who seemingly think other people on here care about what they have been doing at training or on there days off.
Personally i'm finding watching the Aussies play at the moment even more entertaining than logging on here..
Over and out......

Teds predictions---

Rose Park to beat a very undermanned Paralowie.
As far as their concerned....its footy season!!

Sorry boys, i know im going to offend 99% of you but
NEK to beat Fitzroy.

So based on this, Rose park to make the 4 by less than half a point (unless Paralowie forfiet
which is on the cards)

Semi- Rose Park V NEK. This will be a massacre. NEK to win in the first
hour on day 2

Morialta will play PV, will go down to the last ball of the day.
Morialta's record against PV in finals is dismal
GF: NEK v PV
gizzin' on the miz since 2004
