I totally agree. I posted a few months ago about how it goes in cycles or seasons of success and then difficult times, nowadays is no different, Bostons have been belted from pillar to post(excluding previous two years) for at least the last ten years and now its their turn to attempt at turning something promising pre-season into end of year results. Someone will have to spend time at the bottom for a while, its just the way it happens. The way its looking Tasmans could well be the next Bostons...They may have depth this year and possibly next but with not many quality juniors to draw from, it might be tough yards for the boys at Ravendale in the not too distant future. Marble Range could be in trouble, their juniors have had a rough time of it recently too. Who knows whats going to happen..... but enough of the future and back to this year!

steakn, bostons haven't been flogged for ten years man. After losing the grandy in my first year in 99 , we didn't make the finals for a few years and can remember clearly that bostons kicked our arse on numerous occasions.

After being away from the local league for a three seasons, but keeping a big interest in whats been happening, its great to see bostons having some success with recruiting. with blokes like hully and alot of the inside people who are working with the club doing what they're doing, they will start to win games that people don't expect them to win. It can only be a positive for the league.

And all you crew that keep on going on about payed players, get over it. It happens but a majority of teams here in lincoln are based on playing for the club you want to and enjoying it with your teammates. Steakn is right in saying that it all happens in a big cycle. I've been lucky enough to play in a couple of premierships a's, mortlock and colts, unlucky enough to lose a few grandys and had years where we did'nt even make the four, in the end on all those occasions i had a beer with my mates and the opposition and had fun doin it. hopefully when i come home i can lose a couple of chins and have a crack again, i still owe billy'o one for a few years back.
anyway keep the news on the recruits coming. ackland won't be home , spider won't play in lincoln, why wouldn't cas play for bostons?, he did a couple of years back. eze will go alright still, blacker, minya and h parker three way tie in the medal, premiership  hopefully the dees again would crush me to miss another one though.

Who do you think should coach the PLFL league side this year?

Whillas will not be doing it

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!!
guys, thought i would clear a few things up cougers had a meeting last night d bache was cleared to souths which is surprising considering who he works for. if he does play for tasmans it would be a very short career at souths!
tom carr is NOT returning home. he is a former player of kapinnie. he has indicated to us he will come home and play a few games for us although playing in finals is not an option as his wedding is in europe in early sept.
have heard scotty is playing for bostons but not spider. scotty is gun and is the sole reason tumby lost last years GF.

Yeah he had signed at Souths.....But he has now re-signed with Tasmans. I don't think anyone on here needs me to explain why that came about. :(

Love to see either Leslie, Chalmers or Stoeckel do it.

Would it be a bad idea if the first right to that coaching position was given to the previous year's premiership coach?

Just a thought.

I think the coach should definetly be a club coach...

That makes the options fairly slim....

We might have to ask the GM.... 8)

Is TRR doing it again Blues???

I know WCP is doing BFC, but I don't know the others...

I think TRR would be a great choice personally.
