PUNTER wrote:Yes Saturday was hot but if you are smart you make sure you hydrate Friday Night and Saturday Morning and then with extra Drinks breaks you should get through the day fine.

Being a Young Fellow that got taken to hospital maybe someone at the club needs to talk to the kid and point these things out because kids don't always think about pre match preparation such as drinking plenty.

It is a simple matter that A1, A2, A3 games are all played on Ovals with facilities such as Changerooms so players can have a shower to cool down and hydrate the body, they also have Clubrooms that are generally air conditioned or have fans in them to cool off during the day and at tea time and lastly they have shade which isn't always guranteed at the lower grade ovals.
Lastly with other grades called off it leaves Club mates to help out in running water and acting as Sub fielders if people need to go off.

Just my 2 bits worth.

You always make good points Punter. Agree totally with that.

He is a very good batsmen and loves the short ball, so if there are any quick bowlers in this comp test him out.. he opens the batting and will wear a blue helmet ;) i think his nickname is fraka..

Who are the premiership favourites in A2?

I'm tipping Woodville South will be hard to beat...

What about A1? SPOC going very well but there's probably 6 sides that could win.

Para Hills will not make the finals

Port Districts well if you stop Cooper, You stop Port Districts...

Unley are the side that will take it out, if Woodville South dont.

Para Hills would have to lose every game to miss i finals.

True bout Port Districts

Unley depend on the top 3 to make runs

Para Hills have
Woodville Sth
Old Scotch
Unley

Cant see them winning any of these, tough run.

Throw him up a couple early...he wont be able to resist. He'll chase one.
