So if you were living near a Div6 club but were asked to play at a Div1 club and had to drive 20 minutes to get there....you would play with the div6 side.....cmon mate...

Why not? That sounds completely reasonable to me. Some things are about lifestyle and not just money or whatever other benefit you think there is to Div 1 over Div 6.

Taking a bit of a hit in football standard from APFL to div 6. I'll be very interested to hear the comparison.

What a joke Tiger....people dont go to clubs for things like that they only go for money and incentives!!! You have been around these forums long enough to know this.

I wouldnt think so...its not like these guys are on $200 a game and considering BL finished in a position to get relegated last year i would think that aiming higher then this isnt much of a crime for any club or player.

As mentioned previously Div6 appears that its going to be a very close competition again this year. I dont seem to recall to many BL players either on here or at training talking about it being a walk over. Everyone knows that its going to be a hard season and all of the talk and b/s on this forum means nothing until the first weekend in April and beyond.

At this stage we are aiming for finals....I doubt any other club can get on here and hasnt talked about wanting to play finals this year....after all playing (and hopfully winning) finals is what clubs want.

Im guessing there is probably going to be some pressure felt by some of the boys at your club also..step upto a new division and wanting to cement your feet in Div 6 with a good season.

i wouldnt say we choked last year, div 6 was very very even in the top 5, the top 5 in order after minor round was clg, wos, hv, heccies, lockleys

we beat heccies both times we played them, 1 and 1 with the other 3! at the end of the day i could of seen all of these teams make the gf! we never thought it was in the bag! injuries at wrong end of the year didnt help either

Mate no pressure on our club at all. We have gone up a division so it is all new to us. Looks like CLG are up to there same old tricks. We look forward to the challenge and hopefully we can have a good season. Guess we are looking at the long term pic not a short term fix

jb its statements like the one you made which puts glg under pressure and makes other clubs want to beat them all the more.. now the coaching staff and players have to wear what you have said as if it come out of their mouths. you probably have fired up all other div 6 clubs. hope it dont come back to bite you

$150.00 a game is too much anyway. That's what the bride said you're on!
