ive only played in the one gf, and was lucky enough to get on the end of some handy work and kick the sealer to win by 8 points! was a pretty awesome feeling. over the past 3 years tho have finished 2-3 in a 5 team final series and been kicked out in straigh sets each time, that aint cool.

1 win from 2 attempts and a third i watched from the sidelines while the boys did the job because i did my knee in the Prelim.

the loss hurt the most because that year one of our players passed away so we all had his number on our arms. after losin one game all year we got smacked by 52 points... not nice...

and watchin is almost as bad, you don't get the same feeling as though you've actually played in it.
I am not talking to you for 3 minutes because you punched me in the head and it hurt and that was not okay for you to do

And you blokes deserved to win both games too. Played incredible in that 2nd semi at our home ground and then did enough in the GF. Goes to show that winning easily all year doesn't always mean a guaranteed GF win !!

Played in 3 and won all 3. Won a B Grade granny in 2002 whilst playing A's all year and because me and 2 others missed the previous weeks A grade loss we all got permits to play in the B Grade GF which we won. So my first B grade game was a GF win !! The following year won a flag in the A's beating Brahma Lodge and 2008 was the icing on the cake captaining the clubs first C grade GF win against Modbury. So I'm very lucky to have 3 out of 3 cos I'd hate to know what losing one feels like...

I know the feeling of waking up Saturday morning thinking you may not be fit enough to play and that was devastatin enough but to lose it would rip your heart out I think...

It was great to win seeing as they knocked us off in the 2nd semi and we had built up a bit of friendly rivalry as they were a good, fair team to play but we still hoped you blokes would win too just to rub it in more !! But when that final siren goes it's an incredible feeling and quite emotional for an old bloke who went into the game with a bad injury... knowing it might be the last one...
