I hope Australia lose
there was no intent early in the innings as it almost appeared that the players were playing for themselves and not the team, this allowed New Zealand to dictate.

By losing it would be a wake up call

Where'd you hear that?

I figured the bowlers have simply sorted him out - worked out where to bowl to keep him quiet (ie, where not to bowl to him)

Plus he's feeling under the pump for his spot in the side, that will make most batsman retreat into their shells

A loss will be a wake up call?

With all the losses they have had lately, if they haven't woken up yet I suggest calling the local Priest.

whose said I heard it, u just have to look at his change of attitude in the last 2 innings, if hes feeling the pressure one must ask about 6 or 7 others, ball he got out today he would have usually moved across and smashed it through mid wicket, problem is most out batsman are totally out of form, Marsh is in form but hits the ball in the air near fieldsman and gets caught time in and time again, once again we sit back and see the Aussies struggle against a spinner albeit this time a world quality spinner, this has happened for as long as I can remember, we sit back and play the spinners ball in and ball out from the crease, Mick Clarke is the only one that really uses his feet against the spinners but he has been out of the side and come back and is scratching for form. As for WQarner, selectors sit back tell him he aint going anywhere and will play this series and lets see without the pressure if he gets back to it

Locky, you're being too kind on Warner IMO. Making excuses for him.

He's got to stand up to the pressure of International cricket or not play it. That's life. He shouldn't need guarantees of X number of games to settle him down.

I think he's too inexperienced and they've worked him out for now. He needs to go away and do some more work out of the spotlight.

Tait gets a wicket 2nd ball.

Great first up over by Taity there but the ump made a terrible call.

McCullum smashed that ball and was out LBW.

Serves New Zealand right by getting a new south wales ring in to play for them

Marsh dived a bit early then. Was never going to stop the ball reaching the boundary.

Yet another maiden. They can't even push a single.

Brilliant catch by MJ off his own bowling. 3/25 now.
